3/22: PTA Meeting @ 6:30pm in the MPR

No Place for Hate: How to Support an Inclusive and Diverse Community at Greenbrook

Please join Greenbrook PTA for our first evening meeting, focused on parent education with the Anti-Defamation League. We will learn about ways to build community by addressing bias, bullying and prejudices that affect our students, staff and parents. Greenbrook has been seeking a special No Place for Hate designation by the Anti-Defamation League for next year. We will work on practical skills to be allies and ensure that Greenbrook is an inclusive and diverse home for all. Our principal and PTA leadership will also join the conversation.

The meeting will be on Thursday, March 22 from 6:30-8:00pm, in the MPR, with PTA elections at the start of the meeting.

Free child care will be provided by Kids' Country for Greenbrook families' children (potty trained only, please) from 6:15-8:15pm. (No food will be served)

We look forward to this wonderful opportunity to gather and learn together!

Pennies For Patients Fundraiser

Hello parents and staff members,

It is officially time for the Greenbrook “Pennies for Patients” campaign to begin. Over the years Greenbrook has raised an amazing $ 13,698.11 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Pennies for Patients. Pennies for Patients is a month-long fundraiser wherein students and staff are encouraged to bring in pennies (or any money) to give to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s programs. Greenbrook’s campaign will kick off on March 6th and go until April 6th. Students will enjoy a brief assembly that explains exactly who we raise money for and why we do it on March 6th. Weekly announcements and updates will be made at flag salute on Wednesdays over the duration of the fundraiser. For more information please click HERE
